Service Bulletin 6 describes a defect existing in McFarlane Aviation, Inc. part number 6748 springs. These springs were sold under this part number, as part of dual control hardware kit part number 6408, and as part of various McFarlane dual throttle controls. The spring is used with throttle controls for various dual light sport and experimental aircraft equipped with a Rotax 912 or 914 engines. The spring is used to return the carburetor throttle arm to fully open position.
