McFarlane is solar powered!
In December 2010 Cromwell Environmental installed an 18kW solar power system on the roof of McFarlane's Baldwin City, Kansas facility. Due to the great savings on electrical costs, McFarlane added an additional 100kW system in early 2017. This system is one of the largest in the state and provides about a third of McFarlane's electrical energy. Even through the dreary winter months, we were able to avoid over 5000 kg of CO2!
