Slick Magneto Model 4345 must be used with Textron Lycoming Isolation Drive Adapter,
Lycoming P/N LW15416. This part is not supplied by Champion Aerospace. Reference
Lycoming Service Instruction 1346 for further information.
When upgrading 4-cylinder Lycoming engines to dual impulse coupled magnetos, refer
to Champion Aerospace publication SL2-93.
When upgrading 360 Lycoming engines from impulse coupled to retard breaker
magneto’s refer to Lycoming Service Letter SL-1506.
When ordering the 4333 Magneto only, no gear included. However, the K4334-xx Ignition Upgrade Kit includes drive gears (qty 2 each).
K4520 Ignition Upgrade Kit does not include drive gears.
Magneto is configured to accept 600 series harness. Harness adapter M3154 is included
with magneto.
Will not fit Cessna model 337 with magnetic tach pickup on rear engine.

Upgrade from competitor magnetos on the Franklin 335 or 350 will require gears that may
no longer be available. See Champion Aerospace publication SL3-92.
-nd and -wd shown in certain engine applications refer to narrow deck and wide deck,
respectively.
A good core retunr for a factory overhauled Slick Magneto is going to be a current series 4300 or 6300 Slick Magneto. If a new Slick Magneto is purchased, then older series Slick Magnetos can be considered for credit on a case by case basis.
Check the "Detail" tab of the Slick Magneto that you are interested in buying and the Slick Magneto listed with a "Type: Impulsed" will come up with an impulse coupling.
According to the Slick Magneto by Champion Overhaul Manual L-1363F, the magneto should be overhauled at TBO, lighting strike, prop strike, sudden stoppage of the engine and immersion of the aircraft.
